Before the first event, before the first chapter, before the website is even finished, we're finding fifty people across six industries who want to build this rather than attend it.
What a founding member actually does
- Brings their network into the room and makes introductions inside it
- Shapes which cities open first and what a NEXT gathering feels like
- Holds us to the standards on this website, especially “no pay-to-play”
- Gets first access to everything, permanently, and pays the founding rate forever
What a founding board member actually does
- Anchors one of the six pillars and owns bringing that pillar into the room
- Sets the constitution, the code of conduct and the first year of programming
- Opens doors that a new organization cannot open for itself
- Is named as a founder of NEXT for as long as NEXT exists
Everyone who joins after year one joins something that already exists. The first fifty build the thing itself, the pillars, the standards, the first rooms, the culture.
That's not a marketing line. It's a job description. We're looking for people willing to make introductions before they ask for one, and to put their name on something before it's safe to.
